Drive through racking is called rack drive thru. JISE can design drive through racking system for customer. Drive-in/Drive-thru Rack systems, products are stored several pallets deep and lift equipment enters the structure to store and retrieve product. This time-proven, high-density rack is ideally useful for low rotation products with a large number of pallets stored. With the capability to store six, seven or more pallets deep, Drive-In/Drive-Thru Rack allows for fewer aisles and up to 75 percent more storage. 
Drive-In Rack uses one common aisle for entry and exit providing a Last-in/First-out (LIFO) inventory system, whereas Drive-Thru uses separate entry and exit aisles for a First-in/First-out (FIFO) system.
Both reduce the number of aisles and maximize use of warehouse space. This system is subject to more abuse than other rack systems since lift equipment enters the structure.


Drive in racking advantages and disadvantages
1).It is a kind of continuous, non-segmented, continuous full-shelf. On the support rails, the pallets are stored in the depth direction one by one, which makes high-density storage possible.
2).The goods are accessed from the same side of the shelf, with FILO access mode. The balance weight and reach truck can be conveniently accessed into the shelf to access the goods without occupying multiple channels.
3).This kind of shelf is suitable for storing large quantities and less variety of goods.
4).Drive-in racks are all plug-in assembled structures. Columns are assembled structures. The total depth of the shelves in the wall area can be designed to be up to 7 tray depths, and the total depth of shelves in and out of the middle area can be generally 9 pallets depths. To improve the efficiency and reliability of forklift access.
5).The relatively low investment cost applies to situations where the lateral size is large, the variety is small, the quantity is large, and the cargo access mode can be predetermined. It is commonly used to store large quantities of the same type of cargo.
