Stockless Anchor (Stockless Anchor) is also called mountain anchor. There is no crossbar. Two anchor fluke can rotate relative to the anchor shaft and grab the bottom at the same time. The anchor head (Anchor Head) and the anchor system are cast separately. The anchor head is a whole composed of the anchor claw and the anchor crown (Anchor Crown). There is a hole in the middle.
The anchor shaft penetrates through the hole. There are two semi-circular shapes next to the hole. The groove and the pin are embedded in the semi-circular groove, so that the plane of the anchor claw can rotate within a certain angle range to the anchor shaft, so it belongs to the category of rotating claw anchors.
The general characteristics of rodless anchors are:
(1) Because there is no crossbar, it is very convenient to throw the anchor. After the anchor is lifted, it can be directly stored in the side chain hole, which does not occupy the deck area.
(2) Two anchor claws grasp the bottom at the same time, and no anchor claws are exposed out of the soil.
(3) The grip-to-weight ratio of ordinary rodless anchors (such as Hall anchors, Spaker anchors, etc.) is generally about 3 in soft mud bottoms, sandy bottoms can reach 5~7, and the maximum is not more than 8. The rod anchor is small, but it can be compensated by appropriately increasing the anchor weight. The modern new rodless high holding power anchor has improved structure and performance, and the holding power has been greatly improved.
