LNK-LR-02C liferaft lights are maintenance free, but the following checks should be made at each service for
liferaft:
3.1 Inspect light and battery for signs of damage or corrosion.
3.2 Check the expiry date shown on the label affixed on the battery pack. If the date is more than 5
years after date of manufacture, liferaft light must be removed and replaced a new light.
3.3 Test the light by pulling out the "O" ring carefully, and the external light must flash and the internal
light must light. And manually pressing switch on main body separately, and two lights can be turned
on or off. Then replace the "O" ring and the handspike.
3.4 In the storing period, ensure the "O" ring is in its correct position all the time.
4. Life
The life of LNK-LR-02C light is five years from the date of manufacture. The expiry date is shown on the label
affixed to the battery pack. On expiry the light should be removed and a new light should be fixed again.
