WATER TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Water temperature sensors are divided into two categories.

No matter which type, its internal structure is a thermistor, and its resistance is between 275 ohms and 6500 ohms. And the lower the temperature the higher the resistance value, the higher the temperature the lower the resistance value

Structure :
The water temperature and water level sensor is composed of a thermostat part and a water level control part, together with a pressure reducing device in front of the electric valve, and a rotary muffler heater for heating 



The function of the water temperature
It converts the temperature of the cooling water into an electrical signal, and after it is input to the ECU,
there are:
1. Correct the fuel injection volume; increase the fuel injection volume when the temperature is low.

2. Correct the ignition advance angle; increase the ignition advance angle at low temperature, and delay it in order to prevent deflagration at high temperature.

3. Affect the idle speed control valve; ECU controls the action of the idle speed control valve according to the water temperature sensor signal at low temperature to increase the speed.

4. Affect the EGR valve;
