The type of main reducer
(1) Single stage main reducer: the main reducer of most vehicles is single-stage main reducer, and the deceleration type is ordinary helical gear type or bevel gear type:
The bevel gear main reducer is widely used in the rear axle of rear drive vehicles. The output power of the transmission is transmitted to the driving bevel gear through the transmission shaft and to the differential after being decelerated by the driven bevel gear. Ordinary helical gear main reducer is used in the transmission of front drive vehicles.
Note: for the main reducer in the transmission of front drive vehicles, if the engine is transversely placed in the engine room, the main reducer is of ordinary helical gear type; If the engine is placed longitudinally in the engine room, the main reducer is of bevel gear type
