| Detailed | This Unit Fits Infiniti I30 and Nissan Maxima. This is a Hitachi PMGR Starter With a Very Long Nose Cone (Opening to the Right) and 2 Mounting Holes - One at 10:00 and One at 6:00. This Unit Has an 8-Tooth Drive - the Later 17713 is Virtually Identical in Appearance Has a 10-Tooth Drive and Will Replace the 17695 if Desired. The Nose Cones in the Respective Units are Not Designed to Swap Drives Between Them - the Correct Nose Must Match the Correct Drive. The 17695 Should Not Be Used in Place of the 17713 as It Has Been Reported That the Engine May Not Turn Over Fast Enough for the Computer to Sense the Need for Ignition. |
