Product Description

What is a capacitive liquid level sensor?

The capacitive liquid level sensor is a liquid level sensor based on the principle of capacitive sensing.
When the height of the measuring electrode changes by the measured medium, it causes its capacitance to change.

The Capacitive liquid level sensor can convert the changes of various levels, liquid level, and medium height into standard current signals, which are remotely transmitted to the operation control room for secondary instruments or computer devices for centralized display, alarm, or automatic control.

Capacitive liquid level sensor with good structure and installation method can be applied to high temperature, high pressure, strong corrosion, easy to crystallize, anti-clogging, anti-freezing, and solid powder and granular materials.

How to connect the wires?

How to cut and re-assembly a capacitive liquid level sensor?

amark the cutting point
bremoval of bottom plug
ccutting to the reduced-length needed
please note:  tube should be protected by cushion to prevent from tube deformation
dto de-burr, and finishing on appearance
ere-assembly of bottom plug

How to calibrate a capacitive liquid level sensor after cutting length?

aCalibration for "EMPTY"put sensor at open air (after cut)
bpower-on 24VDC
cto short Yellow & Black for at least 5 sec.
(all the above should be in air)
dwill see 0Vdc at output

eCalibration for "FULL"put the sensor into the agent
please note: sensor should be dipped to the agent
fto short Yellow & Red for at least 5 sec.
gwill see 5Vdc at output
(Step 6 & 7 should be in liquid, same as agent in tank)
