How Does The Forklift Brake Shoe Return Spring Work?
Although the return spring on the forklift brake shoe is inconspicuous, it plays an important role. It uses the tension of the spring to make the brake shoe return to its original position after operation. When the pedal is released, the return spring squeezes the brake shoes sideways and pushes the piston of the brake wheel cylinder back into its bore.
