1. Summary
HK-H series 1.8KW on board charger is designed for supplementing electric energy of electric vehicle power battery according to the national standard of charger. This product not only has the advantages of high efficiency, small size, high stability, long service life, but also has the characteristics of high protection level, high reliability, complete protection functions, etc. It is an ideal power source for charging electric vehicles. The charger is equipped with a built-in thermal sensor, which has an overheating protection function and can automatically recover. Fully sealed potting process, up to IP67 protection level, can ensure that it can work in any complex environment without causing failure.
The DC output side of the on board charger is connected to the positive and negative poles of the power battery, and the AC input is connected to the charging port socket of the vehicle body. The charging port socket is used to connect the mains power to supply power for the charger, so as to supplement the power of the battery pack. The connection between the charger and the battery is shown in the figure below.

4. Product working curve and performance
4.1CC/CV charging mode for lithium battery
The pre charging process is only started when the battery pack voltage is lower than U2 (the charger will not start when the battery pack voltage is lower than U1). The constant current charging is conducted with I1, and the pre charging process is ended when the voltage rises to U2
(2)Constant current charging:
Carry out constant current charging with I2, and end the constant current charging process when the voltage rises to U3
(3)Constant voltage charging:
Charge at constant voltage with U3, and end the whole charging process when the current drops to I3

8.1 12VOutput function
The charger provides two 12V outputs, one 12V0.2A and one 12V5A. The electrical connection of the voltage signal output rated at 12V0.2A (the fourth pin of the table definition) is isolated from the internal circuit of the charger to facilitate the expansion of external application functions. Note that the 12V voltage shares the ground with the LED indicating output interface

8.2 LED indicator output interface
The charger provides red and green LED interfaces or red, yellow and green LED interfaces. Its electrical connection is isolated from the internal circuit of the charger to facilitate the expansion of external application functions
8.3 Enable signal line (lithium battery configuration): (6-pin and 12 pin) The external control circuit must be an independent circuit
Enable line function
When lithium battery charger is used, enable signal wire must be used to control the operation and shutdown of the charger. The control circuit shall adopt isolation circuit (such as relay or optocoupler) to control the operation and shutdown of the charger. Note that the charger will be damaged if the control circuit is not independent
8.5 Charge locking signal: (pin 5 and pin 11)
The charger provides a set of normally closed relay contacts as the charging locking signal output. When the charger is not powered, the contacts are connected; When the charger is connected to AC power, the contact is immediately disconnected. The rated current of contact is 1A, withstand voltage is 30V DC/250V AC
9. Safety characteristics
9.1 Withstand voltage performance (Table 8 Test power)
The dielectric strength between the terminal to ground (enclosure) and the circuit without electrical connection with each other shall withstand the test voltage as shown in Table 9 below. The test voltage is (50~60) Hz AC voltage. There shall be no corona, ionization, flashover or breakdown between the test terminals

The insulation resistance between the live circuit and the ground (shell) in the charger shall not be less than 20M when the ambient temperature is (23 ± 2) ºC and the relative humidity is 80%~90%
9.3 Contact current
When human or animal contacts one or more devices or accessible parts of equipment, the current flowing through their bodies shall not be greater than the contact current sensing threshold requirements in GB/T13870.1-2008. See Table 9 for the contact current value of the charger.
