Catalytic Muffler is a integrated catalytic muffler, which is composed of catalytic converter and catalytic muffler. Generally it is consists of three parts. They are ceramic honeycomb catalyst ( or a metal honeycomb catalyst ), metal house and muffler. In addition to have the features of catalytic converter, integrated catalytic muffler also reduce the noise well. The silencing effect is about ≥ 25 (1L / dB (A)).

Catalytic muffler is our new product. It is mainly consist of housing and closed chamber with front cover and back cover. On the front of chamber install a inlet air pipe. And on the back-end install a exhaust pipe. There is a catalytic processing equipment in the shell. This equipment is make up of 2-5 catalytic filter which was segregated every adjoined two filter on the same axle. And there are two checking ring which located in the leading end and back-end respectively.

Silencer principle:
Internal combustion engine muffler, the target of silencing of noise are emissions from engine. Its features are small flow, high flow rate, high temperature, high oil contamination and so on. Internal combustion engine muffler poor working conditions, it will bear to shock of high temperatures and high flow. So we have high demanding to the performance of internal combustion engine muffler for practical use. In addition to higher volume muffler, we special attention to the hydrodynamic performance of the muffler and strict volume restrictions. The resistance of the muffler is very sensitive to the reaction of internal combustion engine. If the muffler is not installed well, the engine operating condition will be worsen. For example, reduc the efficiency, increase consumption and improve exhaust gas temperature. Therefore, internal combustion engine muffler is a muffler with highly technical.

According to customer needs, we can make different size catalytic converter. We also can meet the standard of Euro III, Euro IV, Euro V.

SCR Catalytic Converter Muffler is mainly used in diesel engine exhaust system . SCR means selective catalytic reduction. Its principle is that NO and NO2 reduced to N2 under reducing agent NH3 and 290-400 ºC.  Almost no NH3 oxidation reaction occur. The results showed that diesel engine using SCR technology than using EGR plus particulate trap technology can save about 5% fuel consumption. Select SCR technology can achieve Euro IV~Euro V standard and with high reliability, good stability, low fuel consumption , high power density, long oil change intervals ,low cooling requirements and so on.

 When upgrade to Euro V standards , SCR technology is easier applied in the market than EGR technology . In practical application, we often use completed SCR catalytic converter muffler which  not only to reduce NOx, but also reduce the noise from diesel engine.  



SCR Catalyst Replacement 
In addition ,our GXLJTM SCR catalyst can removes nitrogen oxides (NOx) from diesel vehicles. In the SCR process, the reducing agent reacts with NOx to convert the pollutants into nitrogen(N2), water (H2O) and tiny amounts of carbon dioxide (CO2) , which is then expelled through the vehicle tailpipe. Applications include medium and heavy-duty diesel trucks, all on road and non-road vehicle and various construction machinery vehicles.
